Master’s Uprising Finals

MU New Dawn Ignites the Philippines: Masters Uprising Expands as the Road to the SEA Grand Championship Begins

The fire blazing across the Philippine MU community shows no sign of slowing down.

Following the explosive launch of MU New Dawn, PlayPark raised the banner for competitive PvP with Masters Uprising at the New Dawn, the first-ever national tournament circuit exclusively for Filipino warriors. What began as a national proving ground has now grown into something even bigger—driven by overwhelming participation and passionate requests from the community.

In response, PlayPark is officially confirming that Masters Uprising will be expanded, with additional qualifier slots to be opened in the coming weeks, making the journey to the National Finals even more inclusive as the Philippines prepares for the Southeast Asia Grand Championship in July 2026.

A National Tournament That Outgrew Expectations

Masters Uprising was designed to identify the country’s finest warriors—those worthy of representing the Philippines on the international stage. With thousands of competitors showing up across regions and qualifiers filling up rapidly, demand quickly exceeded initial projections.

To answer the call of the community, PlayPark will be:

  • Extending the competitive runway of Masters Uprising
  • Opening new qualification slots in upcoming weeks
  • Strengthening the National Finals lineup ahead of international competition

This expansion ensures that more players get a fair chance to compete, while raising the level of competition as the country prepares for Southeast Asia’s biggest MU showdown.

Built for Champions: Competitive Formats

Masters Uprising continues to feature two high-intensity formats that highlight both individual mastery and team strategy:

  • Solo Mode (1v1) – A raw test of mechanical skill, timing, and class expertise
  • Team Mode (3v3) – A tactical battlefield where coordination and synergy decide victory

These formats remain the core of the tournament as it scales up toward the National Finals and beyond.

Nationwide Qualifiers: The Battle Spreads Across the Philippines

To ensure nationwide representation, Masters Uprising is anchored by total of 6 regional qualifying legs, each feeding into the Philippine National Finals.

  • Manila – SM Makati
  • Cebu – Drippy Lab Lahug
  • Cagayan de Oro – Virtual Grounds Esports
  • Pampanga – MC3D Esports Cafe, Angeles City
